Crossing borders. Getting farther. The Andes take us from Peru to Bolivia. One culture, a million ways to express
it. A civilization’s mystery is right in front of us… let’s follow the steps of an impressive culture.

Day 1. Lima

Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. After this, we go on to the Main
Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today. Stay in Lima.

Day 2: Lima - Cusco

Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon our exclusive city tour starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy its panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products
grown in the area which supply the whole city. After this, the Koricancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name means “Gold Enclosure” still bedazzles us with the thought of its gold covered walls. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church. We will walk from San Blas, the artisans’
neighborhood, to the Hatunrumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, nowadays home to the Archbishop’s Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.

Day 3: Cusco

In the morning we will distance from the crowds and visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Our adventure continues at the Inca Shrine Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave. Finally we will arrive to the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, monument of impressive architectonic knowledge considered as one of the pillars of Andean Cosmo vision. Free afternoon to explore the city.

Day 4: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

According to the season, we will go to the Poroy train station or Ollantaytambo train station, where we will depart by train to visit one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We arrive at the AguasCalientes station where our staff will assist us on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of
the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. After a guided visit, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco and will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 5: Cusco - Puno

Departure on a tour bus to Puno. On the way we’ll stop to visit the attractions this beautiful route has to offer. The first stop: Andahuaylillas for a visit to its beautiful chapel, then its Racchi, Temple of the Wiracocha god where the walls and narrow streets stand out. Then it’s lunch time and the opportunity to see the view at La Raya,
natural border between Cusco and Puno. Before our final destination we will visit the in site Pucara Museum and a chance to get one of the local classic bull shaped ceramics. We will arrive in Puno at the end of the afternoon.

Day 6: Puno

A morning trip to visit the “people of the lake”.A visit to the Uros’ handmade islands and their inhabitants who will welcome us to their peculiar life style. It is hard to believe but these friendly locals live, get an education and make a living on these floating islands. In the afternoon we will visit the pre-Inca cemetery of the HatunColla chiefs in Sillustani, on the shore of Lake Umayo. A great trip to see the funerary towers or Chullpas reaching up to six meters high.Stay at Puno.

Day 7: Puno - Copacabana - Sun Island - La Paz

Early land transfer to Copacabana Sanctuary. Visit to Copacabana. Board the Catamaran Cruise Ship, snack on board while sailing to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain followed by the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centers, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica lounge and at the Manco Kapac look out the largest variety of Andean camelids. Also,
the Inti Wata Complex at Sun Island includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka traditional vessel for a panoramic visit to the PilkokainaInca Palace. Buffet lunch on board while sailing on Lake Titicaca. Transfer to La Paz.

Day 8: La Paz

In the morning it is time for our city tour which begins in the typical Witches’ Market, then is off to the Colonial San Francisco Church and the Murillo Plaza in which we will find the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Parliament. Then we will walk around the famous Jaen Street where the most important museums
of La Paz are located, to later move to different directions like the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and la Florida to end our tour in the spectacular Valley of the Moon. Free afternoon to discover the city.

Day 9: la Paz - Lima

Day 10: San Pedero de Atacama and the Salt Flats of Uyuni

From San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) drive toward Hito Cajón, admire the Green Lagoon and enjoy the panoramic view of the Licancabur Volcano. Cross the Dali Valley, enjoy the Polkes hot springs and admire the “Sol de Mañana” geysers. Continue towards the Red Lagoon where you will observe many Andean flamingos, you will see the Árbol de
Piedra and (Stone Tree) and arrival at “Ojo de Perdiz”.

Accommodation: Desert Hotel, room with prívate bathroom (Box Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11: Villa Mar Uyuni

Start the journey visiting the small Lagoons: Onda, Chiar Kota, Hedionda y Cañapa, stop at the scenic viewpoint of the Ollagüe Volcano, one of the few active volcanoes in the surroundings. Continue the journey through the Salt Flats of Chiguana, which is a vast extension of saltpeter (potassium nitrate). Arrival at the village of San Juan, visit of the archaeological museum and continue the trip through the Salt Flats of Uyuni towards the Fish Island, where you will find the highest cactus in the world. Hike up to the top of the island to enjoy of a great view of the entire Salt Flat.
After lunch drive towards Uyuni, visiting Colchani, a town that its main economy is based on the salt processing and distribution of salt. Overnight hotel Jardines

Day 12: Uyuni – La Paz

Transfer to the airport for your flight to La Paz and private transfer in to the city center. In the afternoon: City Tour by the heights – Charming La Paz

Pick up from the hotel to visit the embroiderers street of typical costumes where colorful folk dresses are displayed.
Excursion to the historical center of the city of La Paz, visit to the Witches Market (mystical articles of Andean region), Church of San Francisco, Murillo main square, Executive Palace, Legislative Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral and Killi Killi view Point. Transfer by cable car to enjoy a beautiful panorama of La Paz city in one of the most picturesque and long cable urban air transport in the world. Unmissable visit to the impressive Moon Valley located at 10 km far from La Paz city center, these curious geological formations were created by the erosion of the winds and the heavy rains
forming an attractive lunar landscape.

Day 13: La Paz – Tiwanaku – Desaguadero – Puno

Departure from Hotel Rosario towards the pre Incan remains of Tiwanaku, declared world heritage site by UNESCO in December 2000. On the way enjoy great views of the Royal Range of the Andes. Upon arrival, visit the Lithic and the Ceramic Museums where you will receive an introduction about the Tiwanaku civilization, explore the archaeological site walking through the main temples such as the Pyramid of Akapana, the Semi Underground temple, the Kalasasaya temple in where you will find the Ponce monolith and the famous Gate of the Sun.

Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue the trip towards Desaguadero, which is the border in between Bolivia and Perú and there you will be welcomed by your Peruvian guide, and transfer to your Hotel in Puno.

Puno is a port city at an altitude of over 3,800 msnm, on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the Altiplano of Peru. Despite its picturesque hillside setting, the city itself is a ramshackle collection of mostly unfinished modern buildings – its biggest attraction is as a departure point for the famous floating islands on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca.

Day 14: Puno – Cusco

In the morning, we take a short boat ride to visit the Uros Islands, the fames floating reed islands of Lake Titacaca. A unique feature of this part of the lake is the traditional settlement of Uros people on floating islands made entirely of reeds-the same material they use to build their canoes. The islanders also use totora reeds to make boats, and even as food. Although fishing is still an important activity, nowadays the inhabitants earn their living mainly through selling handicrafts to tourists. Our next destination is Taquile Island, knows for their kindness of their residents, their ancestral skill in weaving, their pre-Columbian constructions, and lovely countryside. After the tour private transfer to the bus station for your bus trip to Cusco (incl. buffet lunch). During the bus trip visit the Pucara site museum, Wiracocha temple & Andahuaylillas chapel. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: Cusco – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After breakfast, we set off by train to Machu Picchu. The train passes through the Sacred Valley. The single line track hugs the right side of the canyon next to the boulder-strewn, roaring Urubamba River. Arrival at the small town of Aguas Calientes, and finally a 30-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu, an Inca city with a maze of fine stone temples, houses and fountains, spectacularly situated on a ridge between two peaks. Hidden by dense vegetation when Hiram Bingham discovered it in 1911. There you have a guided tour. In the afternoon you will have lunch in a local restaurant and then we return to Cusco by train. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 16: Cusco – Lima

In the morning we will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive citadel full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in complete communion with nature. We will then continue to the Inca shrine of Qenqo, with its awesome altar for sacrifices embedded in the side of the rock. We will finally reach the Puca Pucara watchtower and Tambomachay, a monument of noticeable architectural excellence, considered one of the pillars of the Andean view of the world.
Climb to the Archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, in the higher part of Cusco. Our first stop will be Tambomachay, a source of spring water that it is believed was once worshipped. Next we will visit the remains of Qenqo, a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar in its center. At the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman we will enjoy a wonderful view of Cusco while admiring the massive stones that make up the fortress. Our last stop will be to see the Tower of Pucca Pucara before we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Lima.

Lima is the capital and the largest city of Peru. It is located in the central coastal part of the country, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The city was founded in 1535 by the Spanish discoverer Francisco Pizarrounder and was named “Ciudad de los Reyes” (City of Kings). The historic center was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.It’s a city with
great cultural diversity- which has a large number of museums. Another amazing thing it has to offer is its great food which has been recognized worldwide through many years. Lima offers a wide range of restaurants and bars, where you can taste delicious Peruvian dishes and drinks. In Lima you will find everything you are looking for diversity of cultures, adventures, beaches, variety of food, entertainment and everything you can imagine.

Day 17: Lima - Back home

In the morning you have a guided tour that includes visits to the main Colonial attractions such as the Main Square with the Cathedral, San Francisco Convent, and many elegant buildings with their traditional wooden balconies, which had being restored. Afterwards you will visit Lima’s residential areas: San Isidro with its Olive Grove, Country Club and Golf course and Miraflores with its Central Park, City Hall and Main shopping streets such as Larco Avenue.
Transfer to the airport for your international flight back home!
